We’ve Heard You – Say Goodbye to Ads on Sixty and Me!

By Sixty and Me June 17, 2025 Lifestyle

For years, you’ve been asking us to do something about the ads on our website — and we’ve finally done it!

We’re excited to introduce an ad-free experience for our community members. By joining our Community Pages Patreon community, you not only support Sixty and Me but also unlock access to a more peaceful, ad-free way to enjoy our content.

You’ll also be invited to our brand-new Patreon Community Pages Group — a private series of themed chat rooms where you can connect, share, and grow with other amazing women in the Sixty and Me sisterhood, alongside exclusive videos and twice weekly live shows with Margaret.

Whether you’re here for inspiration, connection, or just a more serene space, we’ve got you covered.

Congratulations. I think this is a fantastic solution. Running a business takes money. Someone needs to pay for the costs of running the site, and the folks who administer it. Its understandable that folks take free for granted. Maybe because I have my own business, I immediately wondered, then how will Sixty & Me survive? I think its terrific and super affordable. Thank you.

  1. POP UP ADS: I love the 60 and Me articles and have been a newsletter subscriber for years. When I open the article links on my iPhone, the ads and pop-ups are the most for any site I have ever been on – so much that it prevents my reading the articles.
  2. PATREON COST IS TOO HIGH: Please consider lowering the offered $10 per month. I think $5 per month is reasonable – lots of Patreon and Substack accounts are $5 per month.

It’s so sad that your simple message has been so misunderstood. Come on ladies! Nothing changes unless you choose the ad-free option!

That’s exactly right, Jill! Thank you for your support!

No kidding! I thought it was completely clear, so I don’t see why so many people think the free site has changed.

THANK YOU!

I live in a fix income. Why are you charging now that I’m older now. I was fine with reading your information and articles. .. if you need to, Margaret just delete me. I’m the lady from El Paso,Texas. Blessings your way and may you succeed in your changes

Hi Delia,
We are not charging anybody anything. All our content remains free of charge as it always has been. The ads will keep running as they have.

However, now we have simply added an option for people who don’t want to see the ads. It’s a choice, not a demand, and there’s certainly no payment obligation to view Sixty and Me content.

We’re not taking away anything; just adding an option. Nothing changes and ALL our content remains free.
