Everyone knows how cruel children can be. When you don’t quite fit in, or you are simply shy, it’s easy to feel completely alone.

When we were younger, many of us wished for protection from the cruel world – and found it in our imaginations. We created fairies, angles or even monsters to shield us from reality.

In A Monster Calls movie, with Liam Neeson and Sigourney Weaver, a young boy, called Conner, brings what so many of us felt when we were younger to the big screen.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Liam Neeson and I think that he is the perfect choice to play the monster in this film. Sigourney Weaver is an amazing actress, who has almost as many films to her name as candles on her birthday cake. This should be an amazing movie!
