I have severe hair loss and wear wigs. Problem is my grandchildren never see me without a wig because I am so self conscious . I feel ugly without a wig on even with my husband who says it makes no difference to him . I am just uncomfortable in my skin without a wig and there are life sitt ( hospital, night time that wearing a wig is important . How can I love my bald self ?

Hi Susan,
I know this response is a year later, but I read this now.
While I do not wear a wig(yet), I have lost a lot of hair due to stress, so I understand.
If wearing a wig gives you confidence, that is okay, but remember YOU make the wig look good, not vice-versa!
Hair is part of you, but not all, and I bet you could find a lot of pretty parts of you, if you just look.
So you are not ugly. Find a feature you do like and accentuate it! Also if you want a change, do a flowy headscarf, make something your signature look, because that is who you are inside.
I hope this works for you, as it has helped me!
