I love sundresses! I can’t say it loud enough, and I can’t own enough of them. As I get older, I am noticing my taste in sundresses change.
The ones that I now navigate towards are longer, offer a little more coverage, and I tend to also prefer natural fabrics over synthetics. Cotton and linen sundresses are comfortable and breathe easily, making them great for hot summer days and long summer nights.
Sundresses for women over 60 can be solid, printed, and in a variety of styles and fabrics. Do you feel the need to hide away in a shapeless dress because of the little extra around your middle? You’re not alone. It’s a common mistake older women make.
But did you know that A-line, empire waists, fit-and-flare, and belted sundresses tend to flatter an aging woman’s body best?
Let’s take a look at some sundresses that don’t look like shapeless bags and that will make you look and feel fabulous. I have assembled suggested accessories to complete the look of each sundress.
Here is our list of the best sundresses for women over 60:

I do my best to search for photos that feature older models, but it’s not always possible. The fashion industry has many marketing changes to implement where ageism is concerned.
Regardless, these are wonderful sundresses in varied price ranges. Surely, there’s one on this list that will fit your budget and your body perfectly.

I am 74 and frankly, was not happy with most of the dresses shown. I think the only thing that I felt was flattering was the Alfani, but it is black and not a color you want to wear in the tropics. I am looking for attractive, and comfortable, not too tight, but flattering dresses.
