One of the best things about getting older is that you no longer need to worry about what people think. This is especially true when it comes to style and fashion for women over 60. Sure, there are certain principles that can help you to look your best – but, for the most part, now is the time to express your personality!
You may be surprised! In this episode of the Sixty and Me Show, I talk with fashion and style expert Judith Boyd about “classic dressing.” Join Judith and I as we discuss how to find the right balance between expressing yourself without reservation and applying the rules of style after 60. If you’re the kind of woman that likes to break all the rules and live life with passion, you’ll love our discussion.
Please enjoy the video and post any questions for Judith or I in the comments section. I’m always looking for fun ideas for future interviews!
What I love most about Judith is that she is unapologetically herself. She knows what she likes and she isn’t afraid to express her personality.
At the same time, she isn’t aggressive about pushing her fashion ideas on other people. She simple wears what she loves.
Personally, I’ve been inspired by Judith to try some new hats this year. I’d love to hear what you think about her style and whether she has given you any new ideas to try.
Let’s start a conversation! Do you agree that fashion for older women is about more than “classic dressing?” Why or why not? Do you think that it is possible to find a balance between “wearing what you want” and “applying the rules” when it comes to fashion? Please “like” this video and join the conversation below.
