Happy 75th Birthday Martha Stewart – The Domestic Guru Who Does it All!

I almost can’t believe that Martha Stewart is 75 today on August 3rd, 2016. Where does the time go?

I probably don’t need to tell you that Martha Stewart is a creative genius and an incredibly complex woman. In her early life, she was a model, stockbroker and caterer. Then, she made her name as an author, cook, gardener, home décor expert, businesswoman, actor, makeup maven and, finally, entrepreneur!

In launching her magazine “Living”, she created magic, by making boring household tasks fun and entertaining. She has been an iconic character and inspiration for millions of women ever since.

Of course, like many complex people, Martha has had her bumps along the way. So serious were some of her setbacks that the “experts” said she would never recover. But, whenever she has made a mistake, she has bounced back with vigor and style.

No matter what is going on in her world, I love how Martha lives with gusto and passion. Her energy and resilience is remarkable and I am inspired by how she has dealt with adversity in her life. Despite her setbacks, she offers proof that there is nothing you can’t accomplish if you put your mind to it.

Martha Stewart has been designing picture perfect birthday cakes and exquisitely themed birthday parties for grownups for years. Today is her day.
