Jane Seymour Celebrates 67 By Posing for Playboy, says “It’s a ‘Privilege’ Growing Older”

By Sixty and Me September 13, 2018 News

In 67 years of life, Jane Seymour has accomplished a lot – she is an acclaimed film, television, and Broadway actress, a mother, an author, a fashion and jewelry designer, a philanthropist, and she can now add being the oldest woman to pose for Playboy Magazine to her ever-growing list of accomplishments.

Seymour first achieved international fame and notoriety after appearing as a Bond girl in 1973’s James Bond film, Live and Let Die, and her successful career has not slowed down since.

Over the years she has starred in countless TV, film, and theater productions and pursued numerous other creative endeavors in the fashion and literary industries as well, leaving fans wondering, is there anything that this talented woman can’t do?

While Seymour has undeniably created an admirable professional life and career over the years, it is truly the outlook that she maintains on life, love, and growing older that makes her such an extraordinary woman.

Embracing Her Age

Recently appearing on the iTV morning talk show, This Morning, Seymour confidently took off her makeup for the camera to share some of her anti-aging tips and talk about posing for Playboy at 67 years old.

While Seymour is no stranger to baring all for the men’s magazine having posed for Playboy twice before in her life, her choice to pose for the magazine at 67 years old was a deliberate one that she explains by saying, “’I felt it was important to show you could be comfortable in your own skin, to be authentically you and to still feel viable as a sensual woman at any age. I mean just because I have a number 67 doesn’t mean that inside of me. For me, I feel freer now than I did when I was 30 or 40.”

Seymour says that she is “reveling her sixties and embracing everyday”, a claim that is easily proven by simply looking at her – she looks radiant, has glowing skin, and is rarely seen without a genuine smile on her face.

‘Growing older is actually a privilege,’

… she shared.

That smile just might be the secret to living longer, looking younger, and aging well, because according to Seymour, “’If you are enjoying life and you have a positive spirit, you will probably look better, live longer and the best facelift is a smile.”

Aside from a positive spirit and a smile, Seymour might owe some of her youthful glow to her exceptionally happy relationship with film producer, David Green, with whom she has been happily dating for four years.

Seymour gushes about their relationship, saying, “We are very happy, he’s the best. We get along great.”

After being married and divorced four times, it seems that Seymour has found a partner that truly makes her happy, in addition to a fulfilling career and a positive outlook on life, proving that it is entirely possible to live your best life ever in your sixties!
