As the temperatures become chillier and the leaves transform into brilliant golds and reds, it is the perfect time to cycle the tank tops and sundresses out of our closets and bring in our warmer and cozier fall fashions!
And based on several recent public appearances, it looks like Jane Fonda, 80, is already embracing her warmer wardrobe and inspiring all of us with her fabulous fall fashion!
Fonda kicked off her fabulous fall fashions a few weeks ago as she attended the Kering Women in Motion Master Class, at Cinematheque Francaise in France.
Reminding all of us that you don’t have to wear a designer ball gown to look elegant and chic, Fonda hit the red carpet in slacks and a sweater.
But these weren’t just any slacks – Fonda gave us all the Fall feels with the rich, deep emerald green color of her slacks which she paired with a form-fitting black sweater, black suede booties, and a chunky statement necklace.
The entire ensemble oozed understated glamour and cozy Fall vibes.
And while Fonda certainly knows how to step it up with her casual chic style, she also knows how to glam it up when the moment is right!
And the moment was definitely right earlier in the week as Fonda attended the 10th edition of the Festival Lumière in Lyon, France where she was the recipient of the sought-after Lumière Award.
Fonda truly looked like an award-winner in a floor-length, white leopard printed gown that showed off her slim figure while keeping with the cooler weather style that she’s been showing off lately. She paired the winter-white dress with silver stilettos and classic gold jewelry.
Prior to accepting her Lumière Award, Fonda helped to lead a master class with the Institut Lumiere director and Cannes chief Thierry Frémaux where she showed off her fluency in French and talked with the audience about her political activism, saying, “It helps to be in popular culture when you’re a militant, so I want to continue to be very popular in my work so that I can do better militancy.”
Speaking of political activism, several weeks later when Fonda was stateside again, she continued to wow fans with her iconic style as she attended the Women’s Media Awards, a nonprofit organization that Fonda founded in 2005 with fellow political activists, Robin Morgan and Gloria Steinem. The organization helps increase the prominence of women and girls in the media and help their stories and voices gain the attention they deserve.
Fonda showed up to the event oozing Fall fashion with a pair of smart black slacks, a black blouse, and a dazzling, metallic, gold feathered jacket. She finished off the look with a pair of metallic gold shoes and a gold necklace.
