At Sixty and Me, we talk about many serious issues facing women over 60 – achieving financial security, fighting social isolation and depression, making friends as an older adult and achieving healthy aging.

These issues are all important, but, once in a while, it’s fun to ask something fun and light-hearted. This was my thinking when I established our annual “Sexiest Man Over 60” award.

Can Tom Selleck Beat Richard Gere this Year?

In 2015, Richard Gere came in first place with 31% of the vote. Pierce Brosnan was a close second, earning the support of 28% of the women in our community. In a distant third place was Liam Neeson, one of my personal favorites, with 12% of the vote.

As I prepare for this year’s vote, I need your help in deciding whether one particular man should be on the list – Tom Selleck.

Tom Selleck is an Amazing Actor

Of course, we all know that Tom Selleck is a talented actor. We remember him from Magnum, P.I., where he played a Hawaii-based private investigator in the 1980s.

He has won multiple Golden Apple Awards, several People’s Choice Awards and an Emmy. But, does he have the looks, charisma and charm to make it on our list for 2016? Only you can decide!
