I don’t know about you, but I think clothing for women over 60 is so much fun. It doesn’t matter that most of the major fashion brands ignore us. I’m SO over high heels anyway! What matters is that, as women in our 60s, we can finally feel free to choose clothing styles that fit our personalities.
If you could describe your style in just a couple of words, what would you say? In my case, I’ve always thought of myself as a “cultured bohemian.” Actually, now that I think about it, a surprising number of women in the Sixty and Me community also use the word “bohemian” to describe their style after 60.
There is something about hunting for this particular style of clothing that makes me feel happy. It’s almost as if I am able to step away from the world for a few hours to go on a treasure hunt! Do you feel the same way?

Velvets, wool, and laces can be mixed and matched to create a bohemian look. Simply put, achieving a bohemian style can be as simple as mixing the unexpected – like a striped pattern with a floral pattern, for example.
Using fashion and style in our 60s is a way of challenging our invisibility. Being creative and not fitting into a mold can make us stand out and express the way we feel from the inside out.
