It’s not uncommon to see twenty and thirty-somethings showing off trendy, sexy styles, but unfortunately, women often feel that as they get older, their personal style needs to take on a more conservative, modest appearance.

But this couldn’t be further from the truth! Women in their fifties, sixties, and beyond often have more confidence and a better sense of self than other age, which is sexier than any outfit or item of clothing!

Hopefully, with the help of women like Christie Brinkley, 64, who continues to embrace a sexy sense of style in her sixties, women of all ages will grow more and more confident in showcasing whatever style makes them feel like their best self!

Sexy Style in Her Sixties

Christie Brinkley rose to international fame in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s thanks to her naturally stunning good looks and her appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for three consecutive years in a row – 1979, 1980, and 1981. At the time, she was the first model to have ever accomplished this three-peat feat.

Following the recognition she gained from Sports Illustrated, Brinkley went on to build an incredibly successful modeling career over the years, appearing on more than 500 magazine covers and signing a major 25-year contract as the face of Cover Girl.

Over the course of her career, Brinkley has also dabbled in acting, entrepreneurship, and several other creative ventures, but the one constant that has truly stood the test of time is Brinkley’s ability to always exude a chic, sexy, and authentic sense of style.

Brinkley showed off her stunning fashion sense when she recently attended her daughter, Alexa Ray Joel’s, concert in New York City. The timeless beauty dressed in head-to-toe black, wearing a flowing, glittery blouse and sexy, leather high-rise shorts that helped to show off her flawless figure.

She completed the look with a pair of fun, gold booties, dangly, gold earrings, and her gorgeous blonde hair worn in loose waves.

Brinkley posted a photo of her look on Instagram, which prompted plenty of complimentary comments from adoring fans.

And while Brinkley certainly knows how to glam it up for a night out on the town, she also knows how to look effortlessly stylish in more casual apparel like she did earlier this year at the Southampton Sweat event that she attended with her daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, 20, who could have easily passed as her sister.

The model wore an all-white ensemble comprised of figure-hugging white yoga pants, a white sports bra, and a whimsical, white netted top, proving once again that showing off a sexy sense of style certainly doesn’t have to end when you hit sixty!
