Are you interested in reinventing yourself after 60? Then, my latest interview with John Tarnoff is for you! Baby boomers are special. At every point in our history, we have changed the world and reinvented our lives.
Now, as we reach our 60s, we are facing a number of challenges. Many of us are struggling with practical issues, like financial security or staying healthy. Others simply want to find a sense of purpose as our family situations and careers change.
In this interview, John Tarnoff and I discuss the history of the baby boomer generation. Then, we talk about what makes the members of our generation special, as well as, some of the special challenges that we face.
John reminds us that, as we reach our 60s and 70s, we can’t afford to sit still. No-one is going to change our lives for us. If we want to build the future that we deserve, we need to do it ourselves. This means that we need to change our mindset. We can’t afford to see retirement as a time for “sitting still” and relaxing. We need to keep our minds sharp and our bodies fit.
We can do anything that we set out minds to – we just need to believe in ourselves! Enjoy the interview!
