Wondering How to Reinvent Yourself After 60? Follow These 5 Steps (Video)

By Margaret Manning September 14, 2015 Mindset

So, you’ve decided that you want to reinvent yourself after 60. Now what? As many people in their 60s and 70s have discovered the hard way, reinventing yourself in retirement is much harder than it sounds. If you are looking out at the next 2-3 decades with a sense of trepidation, my latest interview with the inspiring John Tarnoff is for you!

In our interview, John cuts through the generalities that are often associated with words like “reinvention” and offers a tangible road-map for getting your life on track. He explains that the reinvention process involves 5 steps – reframing, listening, accepting, expressing and connecting.

He goes on to explain each of these steps and offers from tangle tips for how to get the most from each. For example, when it comes to connecting, he tells us which social networks are the best for staying in touch as we get a little older.

This is our time. As John says, let’s not undervalue ourselves. We have so much to offer the world and we deserve every happiness. I hope that you enjoy the show!

Do you agree with the 5 steps that John outlined in the interview? What advice or tips would you offer to a friend who is trying to reinvent herself in her 60s or 70s? What questions would you like to ask John? Please join the conversation.
