Who was the best James Bond? The question is more difficult than is sounds! In many ways, James Bond transcends the actors that have been lucky enough to play him. You could even argue that he shapes the men who play him more than the other way around.
When a James Bond film ends with “James Bond will return,” we know that they are telling the truth – we just don’t know whose face he will be wearing.
All that said, there is no denying that each of us has a soft spot for one or more of the James Bond actors. As women in our 60s, we are among the only people to have seen most of the James Bond films as they released.
We loved Sean Connery in From Russia with Love and You Only Live Twice.
We embraced Roger Moore as James Bond in Live and Let Die and The Spy Who Loved Me.
Many among us think that Daniel Craig has captured the raw energy of the Bond character like no other.
As we approach the release of the latest James Bond film, Spectre, there is a lot of speculation about who the next main actor will be. So, I thought that this would be a good opportunity to look back at the series and vote on the best Bond of all time.
